Artist: @Drewskii_Doe Elements of Foundation formed in: Lansdowne, Maryland "Bmore the Reel Artist and Culture Curators" digital series highlighting and showcasing creatives who are elevating the culture through their contributions. The Minister of Inspiration has an exclusive one-on-one interview featuring Baltimore artist Drewskii_Doe. Seated in the creatives sector of the city, the moment had finally arrived after over 3 years of recognizing the artistry and development of Drewskii_Doe we would be able to share in this special moment. Social media is an excellent tool to get updates on what projects or what's happening with various artist, but nothing can compare to being in their presence, up close and personal for a one-on-one interview. Born in Lansdowne Maryland, Bmore reel artist and culture curator Drewskii_Doe likes to get his grub on at Captain James but if you don't mind driving too the country G&M has the best crab cakes worldwide. MOI: What does it take to be an artist? To be a rapper is easy you just come up with words that rhyme and say dumb incriminating shyt, but to be an artist you have to care about your body of work. You have to find your audience, and a life story is more engaging. MOI: How do you define success in this everchanging industry? Success starts with the goals as an artist that's success. MOI: Do we need AI rappers? How do they impact or hurt the Hip Hop culture? Ai rappers are dope, but I feel like the songwriters should get all the money. Not a cartoon (laughing) it be white people behind black characters rapping about stuff black people go through, I don't like that part. And can't no cartoon out rap me, so I don't care. Everybody gets a wave just stay on your surfboard. MOI: What should be the average length of sound on a track? I heard some of the best songs of my life that was two minutes long. Although, if a mf got 10-minute songs I might listen to 4 minutes of it then drift off to IG, laughing out loud. Long songs are boring. MOI: Should artist take into account building a legacy or being a one hit wonder in this era? I rather build a legacy, but it's artist just looking for life changing money. And now days one hit can change ya life. MOI: Are features important (Why/Why not)? I don't think features are important unless you trying to buy ya way onto someone's fan base. I'm not really to pressed on local bougie features, I'd rather get a feature from someone who can advance my career or take it to the next level. Other than Drake I ain't pressed.
