THE ESSENTIALS REPORT |
The right to participate in the political process has seen significant progress since the days of affirmative action in the United States of America. In fact, it has become very popular with the moist recent presidential election amassing over 81 million votes. The verdict is still out on who actually won the election but another fair shot to participate is rolling around for 2024. This can also signify that the value of the vote has increased so the "why" should have a better assessment tool for measuring if a bubble is selected for a candidate or not. So long to the typical political party favorites. But if you let a few Democrats tell it, they'll suggest MAGA Republicans have replaced the Whig Party. Either way the parties will make all sorts of promises for your vote so prioritize your needs. Given much consideration that our planetary and environmental needs are changing, that allows for development and growth in the way we engage and participate in the political process. Citizens now have various viewpoints which give them reason to vote in a particular manner. And similar to inflation their point of view fluctuates and sometimes ignites a meaningful conversation- but just like "Everything's an Argument" we can agree to disagree. Is it time to elevate the why in voting? Share your thoughts.
