If we rewind the original digital content clips to June 30,2017, the 50-year celebration of Hip Hop was marinating in approaching a historic mark not just in North America but on a global scale and scope. Thanks to artists such as Jay-Z or HOV for his contributions and 13th album 4:44. Now let's fast forward to 2023, technology is still a major component and factor in the foundation of Hip Hop music. However, the culture has to catch up with some of the changes and transitions, but social media has played a vital role in discovering new artists sounds and attributes to sounds trendy and becoming a chart worthy for recognition. This is sort of dynamic and different for the record labels because some of the metrics used to assess an artist's album had to be updated. It was very creative and innovative for technology companies to integrate Hip Hop on their platforms and business models designating artist sounds in a playlist format beyond the iPod for exclusive features, pop-up shops, and virtual concerts during a global pandemic. Furthermore, enhancing the experience is the responsibility of the consumer. The 44th former President Barack Obama, appeared to adopt this method and always highlight his music taste through sharing his playlist even if it was political motivated or for appealing to a community that he often overlooked. Not sure if Jay-Z released another studio album since June 30, 2017, but he was featured on Nipsey Hussle "Judas" song dropping a few bars but nothing to anticipate an album. Moreover, both artists have contributed to the culture of Hip Hop along with its global impact expanding their brands while elevating their sounds through album collaborations or just providing inspiration to uplift the Hip Hop community as a collective whole. It will be amazing to witness where Hip Hop goes from this 50-year milestone history marker, but hopefully ChatGPT will not water it down to cereal box sounds like snap crackle and popping in your ears.
