Washington, D.C. - "And since we all came from a woman, got our name from a woman and our game from a woman, I wonder why we take from our women, why we rape our women, so we hate our women?" -2Pac
The Women's March was back in Washington on October 17, 2020 under conditions of wear a mask, social distance, and use hand sanitizer due to the coronavirus. Furthermore, that wasn't going to stop the clock or their plans and need to congregate for a huge and powerful mobilization to help energize the nation and inspire millions to turn out to vote. Meanwhile not far away is where Justice Amy Coney Barrett is awaiting voting confirmation to secure the seat of late Justice Ruth Ginsburg. The 2020 Women's March took a different approach with limited pink hats, a change in leadership organizers, and the platform agenda to facilitate a text-banking to send 5 million text messages with data rates applied to get out the vote with the determination to cap off Trump's presidency; just the way it started by texting ORGANIZE to 22422 and standard data rates may apply. What was the goal of the Women's March in 2019? It's too be determined, but in 2020 they wanted to infuse technology and innovation in their outreach and engagement efforts, but what end results will there be for women and the rights of women? Does equal protection under the law not apply to the rights of women? From a historic perspective, the woman has always been faced with some stimulants or temptations that challenge her values and belief systems. Sure the Bible has many books and stories that sort of give a vague description of the woman in fact, the woman was condemned from the start of creation according to the Book of Genesis because of her curiosity of the apple. Luckily, they didn't have to stress about Twitter analysts to measure the engagement to determine if Eve's curiosity should have been condemned in such manner. Take into consideration if women from the Bible had attended the Women's March. Mary of Magdalen, according to the gospel of Luke was one of the women who traveled with Jesus and help support his ministry. She was also present at his burial, and known as the "apostle to the apostles." Moreover, in Gnostic text, Mary's closeness to Jesus results in tension with another disciple Peter due to her gender and jealous of special teaching given to her. Later, Mary was portrayed as a prostitute or a promiscuous woman. So perhaps without any religious persecution, Mary of Magdalen could have been at the Women's March to share her experience with Peter. Would Edissa, who by another name was called Esther have attended the Women's March? Maybe a year late, after her 3 day fast then getting married and finally saving the Jews requesting "favor found in thy sight O King, and if it please thee, give me my life for which I ask and my people for which I request. For we are given up, I and my people to be destroyed to be slain and to perish. And would God we were sold for bond-men and bond-women the evil might be borne with and I would have mourned in silence," Book of Esther. They had many banquets back then, so maybe that was their biblical version of gathering for a common cause in peace and to discuss the conditions of the city. The Women's March did convene a group of 70 movement leaders to create the platform. Tabitha St. Bernard-Jacobs is the current Deputy Executive Director of Programs. It's mission is to harness the political power of diverse women and their communities to create transformative social change. Provides intersectional education on a diverse range of issues creating entry points for new grassroots activities and organizers to engage in their local communities through trainings, outreach programs, and events. The Women's March is committed to dismantling systems of oppression through non violent resistance and building inclusive structures guided by self determination, dignity, and respect. Women's rights are Human rights and Human rights are Women's rights is the motto, and the unity principles are as follow:
Is it really your body and your choice? It depends on who you ask, but it is up to the women in society to make a conscious effort to determine if they will continue to be disrespected and marginalized in society by securing the rights of men to adopt the sexual organs and transition into a women, while no one protects them in the process. However, women's rights are human rights are the only narrative of support. When will protecting the women be on the agenda of the Women's March?

President Trump is discharged from Walter Reed on his way to a second term at the White House10/5/2020 Washington D.C.- From the markets of Wuhan, China, the coronavirus has taken over the world with a direct hot spot at the White House showing signs of President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, along with a few others who work in proximity tested positive for COVID-19 on October 1. A memorandum was released by Assistant to the President Kayleigh McEnany with the permission of President Trump and First Lady Melania, released that they both tested positive for the sARS-CoV-2 virus. Furthermore, Dr. Sean P. Conley, President Trump's doctor expected him to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering and keeping the public updated. President Trump's supporters are determined, and show up no matter if it's on land or sea, and they were showing up at Walter Reed waiting for an update themselves, a while wishing him well during his care and treatment at the hospital for COVID-19. Pretty sure if President had gone to John Hopkins for care, his supporters would have shown up also. Trump flags were waving and the people honking their car horns in hopes the President would hear or see their support for a speedy recovery with less than 30 days before the 2020 Presidential election. For those supporters that didn't drive, could opt-in for the 46 bus Montgomery College Rockville and that drops them near Walter Reed. From his presidential corridor inside the hospital, President Trump tweeted out "OUR GREAT USA WANTS & NEED STIMULUS. WORK TOGETHER AND GET IT DONE. Thank you!" With a great crowd of support outside the hospital, the people had conversations about supporting the president in his time of COVID-19 need, "I wonder if President Trump is watching," one lady said to a man sitting outside the hospital as I was walking by. I then asked "If he is watching what do you want to tell him?" Then multiple people chimed in "we hope he wins the election," "wishing him the best, get well." One male supporter suggested the support was "incredible to watching something live, you know what I mean." Roughly 60 minutes later, President Trump showed up in the back seat of a black suburban wearing a mask thanking the people while waving and giving them a thumbs up! Perhaps some wishes come true even when the conditions aren't the best, but suitable. Thanks to the excellent medical doctors and staff President Trump was discharged from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on the evening of October 5, at 6:30 pm with a message via his Twitter account that has almost amassed 90 million followers "Feeling really good! Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some great drugs and knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago! " President Trump is back at the White House and ready to return to the debate floor and a second term occupying the property on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, N.W in Washington, DC. |
